I Have a Dream partners with ReSport Charitable Trust to ensure our Tamariki and Rangatahi face no barriers to participation in sport and outdoor pursuits. From footwear to wetsuits and fins for free‑dive courses, sports balls, and more, ReSport’s generous donations fully equip our Dreamers for every chalenge allowing them to participate with confidence and opportunity.

Club Development Officer - North Golf Association

A grassroots golf advocate, David's dedicated to helping clubs evolve while honoring the game’s traditions.

As an ambassador for ReSport, David champions its mission to remove participation barriers and redistribute pre-loved sports gear across Northland, and runs annual Golf Fundraisers for the Trust.

Lou Vincent

Lou Vincent (Cricket)

Former Black Cap, now based in the Far North, Lou is a passionate advocate for youth sports and community development.

As an active ambassador for ReSport Charitable Trust, he harnesses his networks to raise the profile of ReSport, championing gear donations that make sports more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable across Northland

Derren Witcombe

Former All Black hooker (5 caps, 2005) and former Northland Taniwha head coach, Derren brings elite experience and grassroots passion to his ambassador role.

Based full-time at Duracrete Concrete Products, he also coaches at Old Boys Marist and Northland Taniwha U19s.

His story is proof that success often begins with second‑hand gear, and he’s helping make that possible for Northland youth.

Tarquala Whittaker

ReSport ambassador proving success can start with second‑hand gear.

A proud Ngāti Hine athlete competing in Northland indoor & beach volleyball and premier netball with Wāhine Toa, she also supports youth as an Onerahi Community Consultant, is a Whanake o te Kōpara leadership graduate, and is training as a roofer.

With her energy, leadership and grassroots connections, Tarquala embodies ReSport’s mission.

Registered teacher with an MEd (1st Class Honours) and Diploma of Specialist Teaching, Fiona combines leading-edge research and neuroscience to improve learner outcomes.
