In 2026 we launched the ReSport Charitable Trust Fund, managed by Northland Community Foundation, to create secure, sustainable long-term funding for the Trust. Your gift to the ReSport Charitable Trust Fund will allow more Northlanders to get involved in sport, creating a healthier, more equitable Northland for many years to come.
Donations to this Fund are invested, with the interest earned each year being distributed to ReSport Charitable Trust to support their operating costs. In this way, your donation is never spent – instead it is invested and will provide long-term support to the Trust. The fund was launched with $20,000 that was fundraised within the Northland community. When the fund reaches $50,000 it will start delivering annual grants. The more the fund grows, the bigger the grant each year which meant that as the Fund grows, so does the impact.
You can donate to the Fund either through a one-off donation, or by setting up regular weekly, monthly or annual donations. Our Fund and all donations to the Fund are managed by Northland Community Foundation.
You can also donate by leaving a gift in your Will. If you already have a Will you can add a simple codicil (amendment) to your existing Will without needing to rewrite the entire document.
